Details surface on Tegan Nox’s withdrawal from UK wrestling show

New information has emerged regarding Tegan Nox’s removal from an upcoming ATTACK! Pro Wrestling show in the UK. Following her WWE release ahead of Crown Jewel 2024, discussions between WWE and ATTACK! to secure her appearance were unsuccessful.

According to Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan, ATTACK! expressed disappointment over Nox’s unavailability. While the exact reason remains unclear, sources indicate “a myriad of issues” may have contributed to the 30-year-old star’s withdrawal from next month’s show.

The report did not confirm whether Nox’s non-compete clause played a role in this decision. Her departure came alongside other notable releases, including Indi Hartwell and Baron Corbin, as WWE opted not to renew their contracts.

Baron corbin discusses impact of pandemic era on WWE run

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, Baron Corbin recently reflected on how the COVID-19 pandemic affected his WWE character development, particularly following his King of the Ring victory in 2019.

“The pandemic killed the King because that was one of those things that needed to be in front of people. It was all about the presentation from being carried to the ring to the obnoxious giant 8,000 lbs. fur coat, and the crown,” Corbin told Adam Barnard.

The former United States Champion’s 12-year WWE tenure, featuring multiple character iterations, concluded on November 1 when his contract expired.
