Dominik Mysterio fires shots at The Rock and John Cena ahead of WWE RAW

WWE Superstar Dominik Mysterio has fired shots at The Rock and John Cena ahead of Monday Night RAW‘s Netflix debut. The two former World Champions will make appearances on the show later tonight.

While John Cena will kick off his Farewell Tour on the upcoming edition of the red brand, The Rock has not revealed the real reason for his appearance. However, The Final Boss could influence the Tribal Combat Match which is reportedly scheduled to open the show.

Former NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio doesn’t seem excited about Cena and The Rock being set to appear on Monday Night RAW. Speaking on Busted Open Radio, the 27-year-old claimed he did not like talking about the “old heads.” He added that the two veterans saw something cool and decided to join in.

“I don’t even like to talk about these old heads because I feel like, no offense, but you got guys like [The] Rock and [John] Cena coming in, and it’s like, I don’t know, they saw something cool, and they’re like, ‘Oh, let me jump on the train,'” he said.

Dominik Mysterio opens up on his thoughts about wrestling former WWE Champion

Dominik Mysterio competed with CM Punk in the latter’s first two matches following his return to WWE after nearly a decade. The two performers wrestled at house shows, with The Second City Saint emerging victorious on both occasions.

While speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, The Judgment Day member claimed he did not expect to be Punk’s first opponent. Dirty Dom stated that he was glad to be the first one to punch The Best in the World in WWE in nearly ten years.

“Yeah, kind of crazy. I didn’t expect it to be me, just because we have so much great talent right now, especially the roster we have today, RAW and SmackDown. But the fact that they trusted me to go in there with him on his first match back, like you said, after what, 10 years, I’m glad I was able to give him his first punch,” he said. [H/T – CVV]
