Dominik Mysterio is the "hardest working" WWE Superstar, says 30-year-old

WWE’s Dominik Mysterio is one of the most notorious heels in professional wrestling today. Apparently, he is also the “hardest working” superstar in the company.

Lately, ‘Dirty’ Dom has shown signs of moving on to a world title picture on the company’s flagship show. This even led to some friction between him and Finn Bálor this past Monday. Nevertheless, his on-screen girlfriend, Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, recently put him over during an outside appearance.

Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, Liv Morgan praised Dominik Mysterio and shut down Pat McAfee for mocking the former NXT North American Champion:

“He’s [Dominik Mysterio] like the hardest working man in WWE. That’s why he’s not here today, because we had to give him a day off. He’s so hard working. He’s so hard working,” Morgan said.

There have been rumblings of ‘Dirty’ Dom’s eventual rise to World Heavyweight Title contendership. However, last week on RAW, his former stablemate, Damian Priest, pinned him in a Fatal Four-Way to earn the right to challenge Gunther at Survivor Series: WarGames.

Dominik Mysterio calls Finn Bálor a “stepdad,” responds to The Prince on WWE RAW

In an interview on the Bootleg Kevpodcast, ‘Dirty’ Dom shared his honest thoughts on working with Finn Bálor in The Judgment Day.

After feuding with his father, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, Dom claims that the former Universal Champion has been a father figure to him. The former NXT North American Champion revealed that he learns something new always from Bálor in terms of in-ring expertise and guidance as a performer:

“It’s honestly been so fun just being able to pick [Finn Balor’s] brain and being in matches with him, and him guiding me through certain things, and just seeing how he puts things together. It shows why he’s one of the greatest of all, especially in-ring wise; he’s the man! I first met him in 2017, and ever since he’s kind of been my stepdad,” Dominik Mysterio said.

This past Monday, Dominik Mysterio told Finn Bálor to his face that he is closer to becoming a World Champion than the latter has ever been in these past few years. The Prince countered, saying that The Judgment Day needs to get rid of The War Raiders, who have been a thorn on their side, especially with Bálor and JD McDonagh holding the World Tag Team Championship.

SPOILERS AHEAD! ‘Dirty’ Dom and Carlito wrestled The War Raiders on the pre-taped episode of RAW, which will air live next week. They came up short to fend off the recently returned tag team specialists, thus failing The Prince.
