Drew McIntyre addressed his current position regarding Roman Reigns and The Bloodline through social media statements. McIntyre reflected on his journey into 2025 and his continued pursuit of The Bloodline.
Let’s look at 2025 so far. This was meant to be a fresh start, a new era, but nothing really changed, has it? Despite all the forced rhetoric being shoved down our throats. Drew McIntyre is still being screwed by The Bloodline, speaking facts when so few are willing to speak facts, fighting the good fight, and yet, I’m still labeled the villain.
McIntyre addressed questions about his relationship with The Rock, explaining why he maintains a different stance toward him compared to other Bloodline members:
What about the Rock thing? I’ve seen that online. ‘But Drew, he’s with The Bloodline. Why would you be nice to him?’ You’re not listening. Let me explain. He’s helped me, endorsed me, looked out for me. Has he wronged me? No. Quite the opposite.
McIntyre’s comments followed his explanation of targeting those who have personally wronged him, citing his history with The Bloodline dating back to Clash at the Castle 2022.
McIntyre Discusses CM Punk Rivalry Impact
Drew McIntyre reflected on his 2024 rivalry with CM Punk in an interview with The Daily Mail. The feud included matches at SummerSlam, Bash at Berlin, and Bad Blood.
As much as we have certain feelings towards each other, we both are aware we’ve got certain magic with each other. It’s a tale as old as time. The more people have a genuine disdain for each other, people can truly feel it. And if you’re actually good at your job, like we are, it does create magic. And the whole process was magic, and the cell itself was a match that we talked about forever.
McIntyre returned to WWE programming on December 2 after a two-month absence following Bad Blood. He faces Seth Rollins in singles competition on Monday’s Raw after declaring for the Royal Rumble.
