Ex-WWE name seemingly present at wrestling event to support Ricochet

A former WWE talent attended a huge show where Ricochet was scheduled to wrestle. Her presence in support of the AEW star has sparked rumors that she could be All Elite soon.

Tay Melo confirmed Samantha Irvin‘s presence at the NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty pay-per-view last night. For her part, Melo made her in-ring return at Stardom’s New Year Dream on January 3. She also attended NJPW’s crossover pay-per-view to support her husband Sammy Guevara and Dustin Rhodes. The Sons of Texas retained her ROH World Tag Team Championship against the House of Torture in an acclaimed contest.

Meanwhile, Ricochet headlined Wrestle Dynasty, taking on Zack Sabre Jr. for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. While the One and Only failed to capture the title, fans were truly amazed by his performance. Samantha Irvin was present in the Tokyo Dome to support her fiance.

Tay Melo recently took to X (fka Twitter) and shared pictures of herself and her daughter Luna at Wrestle Dynasty. She also showed gratitude to Samantha Irvin, who snapped the photos.

“@SamanthaTheBomb got me those precious pics. I love life with the fam,” she wrote.

Irvin and Ricochet have both been actively responding to trolls on social media lately. However, there’s been no word on whether the former WWE ring announcer might join AEW anytime soon.

Former WWE ring announcer Jojo Offerman was seen in an AEW ring to announce a special match ahead of the latest episode of Collision. Unfortunately, many confused Jojo for Samantha due to their slightly similar looks.

Later, Samantha took to Twitter and sarcastically commented on the people on social media being confused.

“I’m bout to kill it like never before,” she wrote.

It will be interesting to see if Samantha Irvin signs with AEW, as she recently made several visits to the Jacksonville-based promotion.
