Final face-off between Seth Rollins and CM Punk on WWE RAW features multiple "pipebombs"
Next week, both will face each other in a historic match on RAW’s Netflix debut.
The final segment of the past WWE RAW’s farewell on USA Network featured the highly anticipated last face-off between Seth Rollins and CM Punk, before their historic match that will take place next week, on the show’s Netflix debut.
As expected, both attacked each other verbally, getting personal and dropping several “pipebombs.”
Starting with Punk, Rollins again accused him of leaving WWE for ten years, trying to destroy it in every way, referencing his time in AEW, and returning only for the money he received. Punk responded by calling him a company yes-man, stating that he only left in the past because he hated who ran the business (Vince McMahon), and mentioned that Becky Lynch is also away. Rollins responded sharply, saying that Punk’s wife (AJ Lee) did the same, but in Lynch’s case, she did it to take care of her children, something Punk knows nothing about.
To close the segment, Punk promised to defeat Rollins next week, destroying him definitively. Rollins responded that Punk is like an incurable cancer and that he will need to remove him from the root on January 6th.
