Finn Balor has earned himself a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. On Twitter/X, he sent a short message reacting to his upcoming match against Gunther.
This week on Monday Night RAW, Gunther was pushed to his limits by Dominik Mysterio, who almost pulled off a surprise victory over the reigning World Heavyweight Champion. Post-match, The Ring General was ambushed by Balor, who even taunted Mysterio after hitting the Coup de Grace thrice on Gunther.
On X/Twitter, The Prince shared a message reflecting on his actions from RAW.
“I am in a great mood today,” Balor wrote.

Before tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Gunther successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Damian Priest at Survivor Series. Balor interfered and attacked Priest during the match’s closing stages, leading to The Ring General’s victory.
Gunther won the title at SummerSlam in a similar fashion after The Prince betrayed his former tag team partner.
Finn Balor put Damian Priest on notice after attacking him at Survivor Series
Following his controversial actions at the Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event, Finn Balor put Damian Priest on notice.
The Prince addressed the assault, claiming that he never forgot about Priest. In a video on Instagram, Balor said:
“I told you Damian. I told you I’ll be waiting till you almost forgot. But Finn, Finn never forgets. Ever.”
During Balor and Priest’s stint in The Judgment Day, they held the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. The duo lost the title at WrestleMania XL, leading to Priest breaking out as a singles star and capturing the World Heavyweight Championship by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract.
Following SummerSlam, Finn Balor lost to The Archer of Infamy at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event. A potential rematch between both superstars could be in the cards after The Prince cost Priest a potential title win this past Saturday.
