John Cena’s appearance on WWE RAW on Netflix prompted a former AEW star to react in a huge way. Matt Hardy’s post was refreshing to see.
Cena appeared in Los Angeles for RAW’s Netflix debut and wowed the crowd inside the Intuit Dome. During his promo, after a lot of deliberation, he made his intentions clear about winning the Royal Rumble, which will take place in February.
He then signed off in the only way John Cena could: with a loud cheer from the large crowd inside the arena. After his promo, former AEW star Matt Hardy took to Twitter/X to praise RAW’s new home and said this move would be great for pro wrestling.
“#RawOnNetflix has an incredible look & vibe to it. #WWEonNetflix is gonna be a massive deal for WWE business around the world,” he wrote.
Hardy’s statement is similar to Matt Cardona’s earlier in the evening. The former United States Champion also said that it was great for pro wrestling that RAW had moved to Netflix.
John Cena hopes to fulfill his promise of winning the Royal Rumble and, in the process, ensure that Matt Hardy and Matt Cardona’s statements are not in vain.
