After months of speculation surrounding his future, prominent free agent Cedric Alexander made his official debut for TNA Wrestling. The former WWE star appeared on the June 26 broadcast of iMPACT, immediately inserting himself into a volatile situation involving Mustafa Ali.
The moment occurred following Ali’s “Call to Arms” match victory over John Skyler. After the bell, Ali turned on his own faction, Order 4, attacking both Skyler and Jason Hotch.
As the assault escalated, Ali armed himself with a steel chair and prepared to strike Tasha Steelz. Before he could act, Alexander stormed the ring to a massive reaction from the Pittsburgh crowd. Hotch, Skyler, and Steelz found an ally in Alexander, prompting Ali to make a hasty retreat from the ring, avoiding a direct confrontation.
Alexander’s arrival confirms reports from early June that TNA held a strong interest in signing him. A free agent since his WWE departure in February 2025, Alexander had been one of the most talked-about names on the market, with many expecting him to land elsewhere. In a May interview, he had stated his goal was to return to a weekly television product.
With TNA’s Slammiversary event on the horizon, the explosive confrontation positions Alexander and Ali for a major program, adding a significant new rivalry to the company’s landscape.
