CM Punk arrived at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando ahead of tonight’s NXT double taping. Sources confirmed to Fightful Select that while the RAW Superstar is not scheduled for the live episode, his involvement in next week’s taped show remains a possibility.
The Voice of the Voiceless spent time with NXT talent during rehearsals, continuing his engagement with the brand’s rising stars since his WWE return.
Tonight’s NXT opens with NXT Tag Team Champion Oba Femi facing Axiom, while NXT Champion Trick Williams defends his title against Eddy Thorpe in the main event. Axiom and Nathan Frazer will also defend their tag team titles against Gallus members Wolfgang and Joe Coffey.
Additional matches include Wren Sinclair versus Jaida Parker, and the team of Sol Ruca and Zaria taking on Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson. Ethan Page is set for a promo segment involving Je’Von Evans.
The final NXT episode of 2024 airs on December 24, followed by the New Year’s Evil special on January 7, 2025.
