Former World Heavyweight Champion May Be Leaving WWE RAW

Jey Uso’s successful run on WWE RAW may be nearing its end as a family crisis on SmackDown calls for his help, forcing a difficult decision.

Former World Heavyweight Champion May Be Leaving WWE RAW

Since breaking away from The Bloodline, Jey Uso has forged a remarkable path as a singles competitor on WWE RAW, but his hard-won individual success may soon be overshadowed by a family war demanding his return to Friday nights. The core of his dilemma lies in a renewed and expanded Bloodline on SmackDown, potentially forcing him to choose between his personal stardom and a familial obligation.

His current focus remains on RAW, where he is embroiled in a feud with Seth Rollins’ associates. During the June 30 episode, Jey rushed to the aid of Sami Zayn and Penta, saving them from a post-match attack by Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. This act reinforces his position as a top-tier performer on the red brand and sets up a potential multi-man rivalry in the coming weeks.

However, the situation on SmackDown grows more volatile. Jey’s twin brother, Jimmy Uso, alongside Jacob Fatu, finds himself severely outnumbered in his fight against a reinforced Bloodline led by Solo Sikoa. The recent additions of Tonga Loa and Tala Tonga have tipped the scales, creating a desperate need for reinforcements on Friday nights.

This escalating conflict presents a compelling reason for Jey Uso to leave his singles career behind and return to SmackDown. Such a move would require him to reconcile with Jacob Fatu and dive back into the very family drama he sought to escape, all for the greater cause of confronting their common enemy in Sikoa’s faction.

A departure from RAW would mean leaving behind a brand where he has achieved immense success. After winning the 2025 Royal Rumble, he captured the World Heavyweight Championship from Gunther at WrestleMania 41 on April 19, holding it for 51 days before losing it back to The Ring General on the June 9 edition of RAW. With his future currently undefined for SummerSlam, the call to aid his brother may prove to be the mission that dictates his next chapter.
