Former WWE champion claims The Bloodline storyline will never be over

The Bloodline has been integral to WWE television for the last couple of years. A former champion recently explained why the storyline involving the popular faction would never really be over.

All members of the OG Bloodline assembled ahead of the WWE Survivor Series: WarGames to face Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Jacob Fatu, and Bronson Reed ahead of the premium live event. The Wiseman also showed up two weeks before the show to announce CM Punk as the final member of the team led by Roman Reigns.

After winning the WarGames match, all members of Roman Reigns’ team, barring the OTC himself, spoke at the Survivor Series: WarGames Post Show. One of the reporters asked Sami Zayn about his potential future with the group.

In response, the 40-year-old stated that although he was unsure what to expect in the future, he believed that The Bloodline story would always be there, similar to his storyline with fellow countryman Kevin Owens.

“I think The Bloodline thing, because of the length of time, for how long it has gone on, and the level of fan investment over the last few years, I feel like the closest thing I can compare it to is my story with Kevin Owens. And it’s the kind of a story that I think is always going to be there. So, the previous question was asked, and Jey [Uso] obviously has been doing tremendous things on his own. Does he want to go back into a team? Does he want to do this? What’s the future for all the [OG] Bloodline members? I don’t know, right? I don’t know,” he said. [From 29:24 to 29:58]

Zayn pointed out that he and KO had been telling a story for 20 years. He further claimed that The Bloodline story would never really end as it is family.

“But I think even if we all drift in different directions, it’s become this thing where you can always float back to the mother ship, you know? Much like me and Kevin have been telling a story for over 20 years, and somehow we always find each other in our crosshairs. And we’re very diligent, just as I think The Bloodline [is], with regard to how we do it and make sure it keeps piquing the fans’ interest. So, I don’t have a definitive answer for you. I don’t know. But it’s definitely not [the] end. I don’t know if this is like, we’re back and running it just like we did two years ago, but it’s never really going to be over, because it’s family.” [From 29:59 onwards]

The OG Bloodline’s OTC completed his revenge on former teammate at WarGames

Roman Reigns teamed up with The Usos to square off against Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga at Crown Jewel. In a surprising turn of events, Sikoa pinned Reigns to secure the win for his team after Fatu decimated the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

However, the former Shield member got his revenge inside WarGames this past Saturday. The match ended with Roman Reigns hitting the spear to Solo Sikoa and pinning him to even the score.

Roman Reigns has been feuding with Solo Sikoa and his men since his return at WWE SummerSlam. After winning the WarGames, it will be interesting to see if he moves on from the rivalry to focus on winning his championship back from Cody Rhodes.
