CM Punk and Roman Reigns joined forces to compete in the Men’s WarGames Match at Survivor Series 2024. Former WWE Champion Seth Rollins recently revealed how he felt watching the two celebrate their win at the premium live event.
Paul Heyman convinced The Second City Saint to join the OG Bloodline for the WarGames Match against the team led by Solo Sikoa in return for an undisclosed favor. Punk played his part in helping the OTC pin Sikoa and secure the win. After winning the contest, the OG Bloodline members celebrated with their iconic “ones” gesture, while The Best in the World joined them with his “Go To Sleep” pose.
In a recent interview with Jackie Redmond, Seth Rollins spoke about how he felt watching two of his arch-rivals together. The Visionary claimed he wanted to throw the remote through his television when they were celebrating their win. Rollins added that the visual internally destroyed him.
“I need it now after Survivor Series this year. And I saw him hand in hand with Roman Reigns. That was enough for me. Enough is enough. I let it go on for a year. We were on a collision course. He gets sidetracked. I go in a different direction. We come back to it, and I just like that visual of him next to Roman. Roman’s finger in the air and Punk doing his stupid little Go To Sleep thing. I just wanted to throw the remote through the TV. I was so viscerally internally destroyed. I was like, that’s it. I can’t wait. I don’t wanna wait anymore,” he said. [From 23:45 to 24:30]

Seth Rollins will face CM Punk on RAW
Seth Rollins and CM Punk have openly fired shots at each other over the years. The two have also been part of several intense verbal back-and-forths.
However, the former allies are set to compete for the first time since the 46-year-old returned to WWE after nearly a decade in 2023. The two RAW Superstars will lock horns on the red brand’s Netflix premiere. The show will air live from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California on January 6.
CM Punk emerged victorious the last time he competed in a singles match with Seth Rollins. The contest took place in December 2013. It will be interesting to see who among the two comes out on top this time around.
