Former WWE Champion Reportedly Set For Surgery

Elijah, a performer currently signed to TNA Wrestling, has undergone surgery following an injury sustained during a recent appearance on WWE NXT. A report from Fightful Select confirmed the surgery was for a torn triceps.

The injury occurred on this week’s episode of NXT during a six-man tag team match. The triceps tear happened when Elijah performed a Double Knees maneuver from the top rope and used his arms to break his fall upon landing.

Elijah has been appearing on NXT programming as part of a working agreement between WWE and TNA. His recent involvement saw him team with John Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura in a victorious effort against Trick Williams and AJ Francis.
