Former WWE Star Responds to Injury-Prone Criticism

Shotzi, who recently departed WWE, addressed a social media user’s comment labeling her “injury prone.” Shotzi’s contract with WWE was not renewed in early May, leading to her exit from the company. The former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion responded to the “injury prone” assertion on social media.

Shotzi directly countered the claim, stating, “You idiots don’t know what injury prone means 🤣 one major injury in 12 years is ‘injury prone’” She further elaborated on this point, sharing her comment and adding, “‘Injury prone’ is a term that you wanna be smart marks overuse to sound smart. 100% of the wrestlers you are calling injury prone are not, they are just human.”

Shotzi sustained a torn ACL in February 2024 during an NXT Women’s Championship match. This injury sidelined her for ten months, with her return to WWE NXT occurring in December of the same year.

Due to her departure stemming from a contract expiration, Shotzi does not have a non-compete clause, allowing her to immediately appear as a free agent. Her next move in professional wrestling has already been confirmed.
