Following Ricochet’s actions this week, a certain former WWE Superstar could drop a challenge for a first-time-ever match as a way for him to retaliate against him. This would be in a First Blood Match.
The former United States Champion blindsided Swerve Strickland with a pair of scissors during his match on Dynamite. Not only was he busted open, but he lost out on having an advantage at next week’s Casino Gauntlet match with a world title shot on the line.
Swerve could look to retaliate against Ricochet, and seeing as he has been a fan of violence, he could ask for a First-Blood match. This would be a contest where the first to make the other bleed wins, and something he could thrive in, seeing as he’s been in several hardcore matches recently.
The high-flyer will most likely accept since this will be another chance for him to dish out pain to the former AEW World Champion for his embarrassment at Worlds End at Swerve’s hands. This may end up being a brutal contest between the pair.
Swerve Strickland broke his silence following Ricochet’s attack
The former AEW World Champion was a man of few words following the attack from the Human Highlight Reel this past Wednesday.
Not only was he busted open and robbed of a chance at the number one spot for the Casino Gauntlet match, but he was also victim to a gruesome attack after the match was over, cementing Ricochet’s heel turn.
He took to X/Twitter and posted a picture of the attack along with a short three-word message, a sign that their relationship wasn’t over.
“Such sweet sorrow” Swerve wrote.

Following the attack, it remains to be seen how Swerve Strickland will retaliate and whether he will reveal his dangerous side. He could try to prove to the former WWE US Champion why many are wary of him.
