Zelina Vega retained the WWE Women’s United States Championship in a hard-fought match against Chelsea Green at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24, held at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. The challenger, Green, was busted open and bled visibly during the intense championship bout.

Late in the match, Chelsea Green suffered a facial injury, resulting in significant bleeding from her nose, though she continued to compete. Following the contest, medical personnel attended to Green, whose nose appeared severely damaged.

Green was subsequently helped to the backstage area.

The match concluded when Zelina Vega executed a Code Red from the top rope on Green, securing the pinfall victory and her continued reign as champion.

Chelsea Green has been actively seeking to recapture the championship from Vega, recently aligning with The Secret Hervice in her efforts. This latest development suggests Green may require a period of recovery before another attempt.
