FTR issue an apology to WWE Hall of Famers on AEW return after 4-years

FTR ran into certain WWE Hall of Famers tonight on AEW Collision. Their encounter was awkward compared to their last interaction on the promotion four years ago, but they ended up burying the hatchet.

In 2020, Rock ‘n’ Roll Express guested on an episode of Dynamite for Tag Team Appreciation Night. Things got heated, and the legends fell victim to an attack from Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler.

Tonight, Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson were backstage for this week’s episode of AEW Collision as the show returned to the legendary Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte. The legendary duo is also set for another appearancetwo weeks from now as the promotion makes its way to Knoxville.

While speaking to FTR, Morton was quick to remind them of their incident in 2020. Dax Harwood was remorseful about the encounter and, on behalf of them, asked for forgiveness. The Hall of Famers were quick to accept this, as they knew it was normal in the business.

Moments later, The Outrunners joined FTR and Rock ‘n’ Roll Express. It was an interesting encounter between two AEW stars whose gimmicks are reminiscent of wrestlers from the ’70s and actual legends who competed in that era. They all eventually shook hands before the segment ended.
