Bill Goldberg might enter the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble Match before his retirement, according to his son Gage. In a Sportskeeda interview, Gage discussed his father’s potential pursuit of the WWE World Championship through the annual event.
“He would definitely do it. He’s willing to do anything. If they say ‘you’re going to face this guy,’ he’ll do it 100%. Participate in the Royal Rumble? He’ll do it,” Gage Goldberg stated.
The Hall of Famer has participated in two Royal Rumble matches throughout his career. In 2004, he entered at #30, lasting 2:04 minutes and eliminating three competitors before Kurt Angle eliminated him. His 2017 appearance lasted 3:21 minutes, where he also eliminated three opponents before The Undertaker ended his run.
Goldberg announced his 2025 retirement plans in November without specifying a date. His recent confrontation with World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER at Bad Blood has sparked speculation about his final match. At Saturday Night’s Main Event, Goldberg retained his championship against Damian Priest and Finn Balor.
