GUNTHER Betrayed at WWE Survivor Series, Losing World Heavyweight Championship?
During Monday Night RAW on November 11, an in-ring segment hinted at possible tensions within Imperium as GUNTHER addressed the crowd about his upcoming match against Damian Priest.
The moment was interrupted by Priest, who exchanged words with the World Heavyweight Champion. However, the situation took an unexpected turn when Ludwig Kaiser appeared in the ring and confronted Priest.
Kaiser’s interruption didn’t sit well with GUNTHER, who immediately covered his partner’s microphone and harshly reprimanded him for getting involved. As Kaiser continued to voice his frustration towards Priest, he was suddenly attacked by the Judgment Day member.
The future of Imperium remains uncertain, but this tension may escalate in the coming weeks.
Damian Priest to Challenge GUNTHER at Survivor Series
Later during the same RAW episode, it was officially announced that GUNTHER will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Damian Priest at Survivor Series. Priest earned this title shot after winning a Fatal 4-Way Match against Seth Rollins, Sheamus, and Dominik Mysterio on the November 4 RAW.
During their heated exchange in the ring, Priest taunted GUNTHER, mentioning that he would still be a champion if not for Finn Balor’s betrayal at SummerSlam. The challenger also pointed out GUNTHER’s recent loss to Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel, suggesting that the reigning champion was losing his grip on his once “dominant” fighting style.
