Gunther Defends Logan Paul’s WWE Presence Amid Fan Criticism

World Heavyweight Champion Gunther defends Logan Paul during Ariel Helwani interview, praising his athleticism and quick learning ability.

The WWE roster has seen a notable voice speak up in support of Logan Paul’s position within the company. World Heavyweight Champion Gunther recently shared positive comments about the former United States Champion during a media appearance.

In his conversation with Ariel Helwani, Guntheraddressed criticism directed at Paul by some wrestling fans who question the influencer’s place in WWE. The champion, who is set to square off against Jey Uso at WrestleMania 41, specifically highlighted Paul’s physical abilities and adaptation to the ring.

I don’t have any bad experience with Logan. I think he’s a great addition for us. Incredible athlete and he learned very quickly.

Gunther acknowledged that while Paul may not have aspirations to become the greatest wrestler in the world, his passion for the business is evident. He also defended the special accommodations Paul reportedly receives, such as private jets and exclusive locker rooms.

When they offer a private jet and exclusive locker room, none of you would refuse. Let’s be honest.

The comments stand out particularly due to the contrasting career paths of both performers. Gunther spent years honing his craft throughout Europe before joining NXT UK, while Paul built his name as a content creator before transitioning to sports entertainment.
