“HELP” – Mercedes Mone sends an urgent message to fans ahead of huge match

The CEO Mercedes Mone has sent an interesting message to the wrestling fans before her upcoming title defense. Mone is the current TBS and NJPW Strong Women’s Champion.

At AEW Worlds End Pay-Per-View, Mercedes Mone and Kris Statlander put on a stellar performance for the TBS Championship. The match made history for being the longest women’s match in All Elite Wrestling history. The former WWEstar is now preparing to defend her NJPW Strong Women’s Championship against Mina Shirakawa at Wrestle Dynasty on January 5th. The fans can expect to see an incredible contest between the female stars.

On Instagram, Mercedes Mone posted a story, expressing her excitement for the NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty PPV at Tokyo Dome. Mone also asked for help as she couldn’t contain the excitement for the event:

“OMG my nerves are already going crazy for tomorrow!!! HELP,” wrote The CEO.

AEW should build a star to take down Mercedes Mone according to Tommy Dreamer

Mercedes Mone became TBS Champion in her in-ring AEW debut at the Double or Nothing PPV in May 2024. She has had a dominant run since and is also currently a double champ, with the NJPW Strong Women’s Title on her waist as well.

In a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, Tommy Dreamer noted Mercedes’ credibility after managing to retain her TBS Title in all previous defenses. He claimed that the promotion has to figure out which star they’re going to build to take down The CEO:

“I think it’s going to take a while because they need to build somebody that is credible to take her place. She’s been so dominant, and that’s one of the issues, right? When you have somebody so dominant in the women’s division, or in any division, to create someone who is credible enough to say, okay, this person will take away or will be able to beat them. In this case, we have yet to see that.” [H/T Wrestling Inc]

The fans will have to wait and see whether The CEO can reach one year as TBS Champion or she will lose the title before May 2025.
