Speculations have been building regarding former AEW star Penta El Zero Miedo‘s WWE debut for months. Ahead of Monday Night RAW‘s first episode on Netflix, an update has emerged regarding the status of the masked luchador in the sports entertainment juggernaut.
Last year, rumors started making the rounds that The Lucha Brothers were on their way out of All Elite Wrestling, having supposedly turned down Tony Khan’s offer to stay on in the Jacksonville-based promotion. However, although Penta’s contract expired late in 2024, his brother Rey Fenix had injury time added to his deal, seemingly nullifying the prospects of the former AEW World Tag Team Champions debuting together in WWE.
Interestingly, for the past several weeks, the sports entertainment juggernaut has been airing cryptic vignettes, seemingly teasing the arrival of Penta on RAW. This led many to expect that the 39-year-old star would make his first appearance in the company on the Monday-night flagship show’s Netflix premiere on January 6.
However, according to Fightful Select, although talents in WWE believed that Penta El Zero Miedo would be debuting at the Intuit Dome on the historic show, there was no confirmation as to whether the company plans on unleashing the charismatic luchador on Monday.
It remains to be seen if Penta El Zero Miedo will soon be part of World Wrestling Entertainment.
