Hulk Hogan shares major update ahead of WWE RAW appearance

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan is set to make an appearance on the upcoming edition of Monday Night RAW. The Hulkster shared a major update on social media ahead of the show.

The January 6 edition of Monday Night RAW will air on Netflix from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. The historic event will see the red brand’s show go off television for the first time. The global juggernaut has announced a stacked card for the show.

Alongside several big names, WWE veteran Hulk Hogan is also set to grace the show with his presence. The former World Champion recently took to Instagram Stories to post a video from his car. The 71-year-old stated he was headed to the venue for the historic show.

Hulk Hogan reveals which WWE Superstar he would love to face if he were to return to the squared circle

Hulk Hogan’s last WWE in-ring appearance saw him defeat 14-time World Champion Randy Orton at SummerSlam 2006. However, he wrestled several matches in TNA, the last one being at a House Show in 2012.

Speaking to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated last year, the wrestling legend revealed that if he could take the ring, he would love to face The Apex Predator. He further praised The Viper for his impressive in-ring abilities:

“If I wasn’t all beat to hell, I’d love to get in the ring with Randy. We could still tear it down in the main event. Randy could call it in the ring, and he could adjust to my style to make sure it worked perfectly. He’s just so good. He can work with veterans and the newer guys, too. He knows how to pivot both ways in the ring. He understands wrestling in a way very few do. That’s why he is making masterpieces in the ring,” he said.

Randy Orton himself has been out of action following a brutal attack from Kevin Owens in early November last year. The Prize Fighter flattened The Viper with a piledriver on Friday Night SmackDown. It will be interesting to see how much longer it takes for Orton to make his highly anticipated return.
