Hulk Hogan failed to appear at UFC Tampa, where he was scheduled to accompany Colby Covington for his fight against Joaquin Buckley. Despite Hogan’s absence, Covington used the Hall of Famer’s iconic WWE entrance theme for his walkout.
The fight ended with Buckley securing a technical knockout victory in the third round after medical officials deemed Covington unfit to continue.
Covington entered the arena wearing a Trump pendant, reflecting the political alignment he shares with Hogan, as both publicly support the president-elect. Trump previously attended UFC 296 to witness Covington’s loss against Leon Edwards.
The planned appearance highlights the growing relationship between WWE and UFC under TKO Group Holdings. This collaboration has led to increased crossover appearances, including Michael Chandler’s challenge to Conor McGregor during an episode of RAW.
