Is Vince McMahon erased from WWE? Exploring potential reason for omission from iconic video

There is no denying the influence Vince McMahon has had on the business of pro wrestling. Not only did he help build WWE from the ground up, but he played a key role in making it a billion-dollar company. However, he has found himself in a lot of controversy, forcing him to step away from the promotion. But, has he been completely erased from WWE’s history?

The answer to that question is “No.” Although the current situation surrounding the Janel Grant case has affected his standing, Vince McMahon is still very much a part of WWE’s history. However, it would seem as though the company has decided not to name drop, or even acknowledge the former chairman, as seen in a recently released iconic video.

With RAW‘s Netflix debut just hours away, WWE has released a “first look” at their Cold Open for the historic event. Shared on YouTube, the visual shows an artist painting some of the most iconic scenes in WWE history on a canvas. The video features a number of the company’s greatest superstars and is voiced over by CCO Triple H himself. However, Vince McMahon is not mentioned or seen once in the entire video.

It seems as though WWE is slowly washing its hands of the 79-year-old. However, this is nothing more than mere speculation at this point.

Vince McMahon is reportedly starting his own entertainment company

As mentioned earlier, Vince McMahon is currently embroiled in controversy. But, that has not stopped him from venturing into the business world once again. That’s right, Mr. McMahon is reportedly looking to start his own company and is thinking about venturing into the entertainment business.

According to numerous reports, McMahon is in the process of setting up what has been described as a new “entertainment hub company”. It will focus on financial backing, development, and producing film and television projects. Furthermore, several former WWE alumni are said to be involved, including former COO, Brad Blum, and the company’s former Hollywood liaison, Kristen Prouty.

It will be interesting to see how things pan out for “The Boss,” if and when he starts his new company.
