JBL will return to WWE on the January 20, 2025, episode of RAW on Netflix. During an appearance on the Something to Wrestle podcast, JBL discussed the circumstances surrounding his return.

JBL expressed interest in reuniting with Michael Cole at the announcer’s desk.

The WWE Hall of Famer spoke about WWE’s treatment of returning legends.
When you’re gone for a while, you just kind of enjoy being back in the arena. Seeing the guys that you know, seeing the new guys. They treat you unbelievably well. It’s amazing how well. A lot of people sent out those notes that we got at Christmas, ‘Thank you for being a legend and building this business.’ They just do cool things. The way they handle legends is just fantastic.

WWE Announces New Matches And Segments For Next RAW
WWE announced additional matches and segments for the January 20 episode of RAW on Netflix. Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky face Pure Fusion Collective following PFC’s attack on Damage CNTRL member Kairi Sane.
Sami Zayn addresses the WWE Universe after his victory over The Miz. Seth Rollins previously confronted Zayn about helping Roman Reigns regain the Tribal Chief position.
Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria makes her first RAW appearance since capturing the championship. These segments join previously announced matches featuring Seth Rollins versus Drew McIntyre and The New Day.
