Jey Uso & Sami Zayn set to make WWE history at Survivor Series; could join elite list featuring two former AEW champions

Jey Uso and Sami Zayn are on the verge of a historic moment at Survivor Series. If they compete in the event, they could join a rare list that features two former AEW champions.

The two former AEW champions in question are Roderick Strong and Adam Cole, who previously held the International Championship and Owen Hart Cup, respectively. Survivor Series is one of WWE’s biggest PLEs of the year. For several years, the event was booked around the traditional Survivor Series elimination match, in which two teams would face each other in an elimination-style tag team bout.

However, Triple H made a massive change to the premium live event when he introduced the WarGames match to the show in 2022. The first WarGames match featured The Bloodline, who took on Team Brawling Brutes. Since then, there has been a Men’s and Women’s WarGames match on the show every year.

Sami Zayn and Jey Uso have already been part of two WarGames matches. By the looks of it, they will be involved in another match this year at Survivor Series. If this happens, it will be the third time in history that the same duo or team has competed as partners in three or more televised WarGames matches. The previous two are Sting and Lex Luger and Undisputed Era.

Jey Uso and Sami Zayn in search of final member for WarGames match at Survivor Series

The WarGames match involves two teams of five members who face each other inside a cage with two rings. As it stands, both Bloodline factions have only four members each.

As a result, Jey Uso and Sami Zayn are desperately trying to find a final fifth member. On RAW, Sami urged Seth Rollins to join his team. However, The Visionary told him he was not interested in being on the same team as Roman Reigns.

On the same show, Jey was spotted seemingly trying to convince Rey Mysterio to join their team but was met with a negative response as well. This leaves both teams still needing to find a final member to join their respective groups.

It will be interesting to see who will step up and join The OG Bloodline’s team at Survivor Series.
