Jey Uso opens up about emotional reunion with OG Bloodline member on WWE SmackDown
Jey Uso reveals he was emotional during the reunion with his brother in the WWE SmackDown ring.
Jey Uso addressed his recent reunion with Jimmy Uso during an appearance at ComplexCon. The former WWE Intercontinental Champion shared insights about his journey as a singles competitor and the challenges of performing without his brother by his side.
The reunion took place on WWE SmackDown in October 2024, following Jey’s departure from The Bloodline and transition to Monday Night RAW last year.
Speaking with Peter Rosenberg, Jey reflected on traveling alone for the first time in his career. “It was great, man. I was really happy to see my brother. I don’t see him as much, Uce. I’m saying I don’t travel with him much no more, you know what I’m saying because we’re on different shows and he was hurt for a little minute, and now he’s back. It’s just cool to see him back on TV and on the road together.”
“A lot, man. No one sees that part, Uce. I’ve never been on the road alone. I always had like somebody in the car with me—my brothers, you know, driving, talking. It was a little lonely out there sometimes, Uce. But I’m just glad he’s back, man. He’s healthy.”
Jey Uso shares thoughts on Bronson Reed joining New Bloodline for Survivor Series: WarGames
During his ComplexCon appearance, Jey Uso also discussed Bronson Reed’s addition to the New Bloodline for Survivor Series: WarGames. Reed was revealed as the fifth member of Solo Sikoa’s team on WWE SmackDown.
“I think business just picked up with Bronson Reed,” Uso stated. “I think he’s gonna be a problem at WarGames. I’m not trying to get in the ring with that dude. I’ve been in the ring a couple times with him. He’s an Uce too, you know what I’m saying? Damn, if they had to pick a fifth member for their team, they grabbed a first-round draft pick for sure.”
Uso expressed enthusiasm about Sami Zayn joining the OG Bloodline. “So happy, man. This past Friday, it was just cool, all of us being in the room together. Like even back just working together behind the scenes, doing the backstages, man. Just being in there with Roman and Sami and ping-ponging off each other, it just felt like old times.”
