Joe Hendry wins TNA Turning Point’s Turkey Bowl Match
This victory marks an important moment for Hendry, who is looking to rebuild momentum after his unsuccessful World Championship pursuit at Bound for Glory, where John Bradshaw Layfield's interference cost him the title opportunity.
Joe Hendry emerged victorious in the TNA Turkey Bowl Match at Turning Point, while Brian Myers faced humiliating consequences following his defeat.
The TNA Turkey Bowl Match featured Joe Hendry, Brian Myers, Hammerstone, Rhino (replacing PCO), Eric Young, and John Skyler. Hendry secured the win after executing the Standing Ovation Chokeslam on Myers.
In the aftermath, Myers was on the receiving end of a Gore from Rhino. Subsequently, Rhino, Hendry, and Eric Young dressed Myers in a turkey costume. Prior to the match, Joe Hendry had expressed his aspirations for the TNA World Championship.
