John Cena Drops Controversial Claim Hours Before WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

John Cena, the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion, has identified his current and 17th world title reign as his favorite, a significant declaration from the veteran. He secured this historic championship at WrestleMania 41, adding another milestone to a career that saw him win his first world title back in 2005. Cena shared this sentiment during a recent appearance at the Philadelphia Fan Expo.

The statement regarding his preferred championship tenure came when John Cena was directly asked about his favorite reign while participating in a Q&A session at the Philadelphia Fan Expo. His current status as the Undisputed WWE Champion followed his victory at WrestleMania 41.

Responding to the question, Cena stated, “It’s gotta be this one. If everything lines up, this is the one I’m taking home with me to put on my mantle, so hopefully this one.” This choice underscores the importance he places on this particular period as champion.

Further adding to the significance of this reign, John Cena has also articulated his plans to retire as the Undisputed WWE Champion at the close of December. He has provocatively promised to “ruin wrestling and destroy the history of the world championship” upon his retirement under these circumstances.
