WWE and TNA Wrestling announced a multi-year partnership agreement on January 16th. The collaboration enables talent crossovers between WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling programming, including Premium Live Events and pay-per-views.
The partnership began in early 2024 when Jordynne Grace participated in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match. Grace later competed in NXT, alongside appearances by Joe Hendry and Frankie Kazarian. Additionally, WWE talent including Arianna Grace, Karmen Petrovic, Dante Chen, and Wolfgang appeared on TNA programming.
John Cena shared an image featuring both WWE and TNA logos on Instagram following the announcement. His post generated speculation about potential appearances in TNA before his retirement at the end of 2025.
On January 6th, Cena returned to RAW to begin his retirement tour and announce his entry into the Royal Rumble match.
