Jordynne Grace’s contract status with TNA Wrestling has become clearer as the 2025 Royal Rumble approaches. The former Knockouts World Champion, who made her WWE debut at this year’s Royal Rumble match, is scheduled to complete her TNA commitments in January.
According to Fightful Select, Grace’s contract was initially set to run through mid-2025. However, an agreed-upon amendment altered the timeline, with her final contracted dates now scheduled for TNA’s Genesis Weekend. The event will feature Grace in a high-profile match against Tessa Blanchard at the pay-per-view on January 19 in Dallas.
Grace’s relationship with WWE began when she entered the Women’s Royal Rumble match as the fifth entrant. During her 19-minute appearance, she faced elimination from Bianca Belair. Since then, she has competed in four matches for the NXT brand, demonstrating the collaboration between WWE and TNA.
Nic Nemeth open to Royal Rumble appearance
As discussions about potential Royal Rumble participants continue, Nic Nemeth expressed interest in making an appearance at the event. The former WWE superstar shared his perspective on a possible return:
A Rumble spot? Dude, that’s so cool. WWE’s killing it right now. To do something fun and wear my old trunks, get the old music to play, come out there and kick somebody in the face, that would be awesome. But the most important thing, it would just be creating a viral moment, so I could talk about TNA. That’s the only reason I’d want to do it. It’d be cool to see some old friends.
Since departing WWE following the TKO Group formation in September 2023, Nemeth has expanded his presence across multiple promotions, including TNA Wrestling, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and AAA. The 2025 Royal Rumble is scheduled for February 1 at Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium.
