Kevin Owens claims referee bias following post-match attack on Cody Rhodes

Kevin Owens addressed the aftermath of his Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The match concluded when Rhodes executed a Cross Rhodes using a chair that Owens had introduced to the ring.

Responding to WWE’s footage of the post-match assault, Owens claimed referee interference cost him the championship opportunity. He also downplayed his confrontation with Triple H on the entrance ramp, stating the WWE CCO merely expressed gratitude for the sold-out attendance.

Rhodes required medical attention and left the arena on a stretcher after Owens delivered a prohibited Piledriver. The champion may be absent for several weeks to sell the effects of the attack.
