Kurt Angle revealed details of how Brock Lesnar broke his neck during a WWE match. Speaking on the INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, the former champion shared the story of the incident involving a steel chair.
Angle explained that Chris Benoit had instructed Lesnar to swing the chair sideways to avoid neck injuries. However, the Olympic medalist forgot to pass the same instruction to Lesnar. The veteran described the moment of impact:
He swung sideways at Benoit, hitting him safely. Then he came down with full force, hitting me directly in the head. Right then, I heard my neck crack, and my right arm went completely numb, I couldn’t lift it or use it.
