LA Knight opens up about WWE management; makes bold claim
WWE United States Champion LA Knight disclosed the creative dynamics between himself and WWE management regarding his approach to promos. In a recent SportBible interview, Knight detailed the balance between spontaneity and structure in his performances.
“Sometimes I get myself in trouble because I like to work a little more off the cuff and sometimes they [WWE management] like a little structure,” Knight stated. “I want to listen and react instead of thinking of all this prefab. If I want to be as authentic as I can be and connect with everybody out there, I need to listen.”
Knight captured the WWE United States Championship from Logan Paul at SummerSlam 2024. At the post-match press conference, Knight reflected on the achievement: “Long overdue. I don’t know if anybody could read lips out there, but most of the stuff I was saying, you probably can’t say right now because it was a lot of ‘f*in right,’ and all that kind of stuff.”
