PWInsider reports Alexa Bliss remains absent from WWE amid ongoing contract negotiations, indicating no appearance at Royal Rumble in Indianapolis.
PWInsider Elite reports that Alexa Bliss will not be participating in tonight’s Royal Rumble premium live event in Indianapolis. The report confirms Bliss was in Orlando, Florida last night, attending her husband Ryan Cabrera’s concert alongside former WWE star Mojo Rawley and WWE ring announcer Mike Rome.
Bliss has not competed since the 2023 Royal Rumble, where she unsuccessfully challenged Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship before taking maternity leave.
According to prior reports, Bliss was scheduled to return on the January 13 episode of Raw in San Jose. However, the return did not materialize due to contractual discussions, with WWE reportedly wanting Bliss to return under her existing contract terms while she sought a renewal.
PWInsider indicates that no progress has been made in resolving the contract situation between Bliss and WWE as of this weekend.
