The injury occurred when Chelsea Green unsuccessfully challenged Zelina Vega for the WWE Women’s US Championship at the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24. Green subsequently confirmed via Twitter that she had indeed broken her nose during this contest.
Dave Meltzer provided additional details on Wrestling Observer Radio, clarifying the nature of the injury and affirming Chelsea Green’s probable continued television appearances. Meltzer stated:
Chelsea Green broke her nose. It was a clean break, so it’s not (too) bad. She’s going to stay on television, from what I gather.
