Legendary Name Speculated for Major WWE Event

Legendary wrestler Meiko Satomura has arrived in the United States and is set to appear at NXT Roadblock on March 11 in New York.

Meiko Satomura has arrived in the United States and is scheduled to be present at NXT Roadblock on March 11 in New York, according to multiple sources.

Satomura’s arrival was first teased when Jordynne Grace posted a photo with her on social media. WWE subsequently highlighted both Satomura and Giulia at the Performance Center.

Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan has now confirmed Satomura is officially set to be in attendance at Roadblock. Whether she will appear on-screen remains undetermined at this time.

Satomura’s last WWE appearance also occurred at NXT Roadblock in 2023. She has not been present for any NXT tapings since that appearance.

Pep.S Caro of Plantera Wrestling reports that Giulia vs. Stephanie Vaquer is currently planned as the main event for the show.

Satomura has recently completed her final matches in the United Kingdom as part of her farewell tour. Multiple independent wrestling promotions in the United States have reportedly been turned down when attempting to book her, fueling speculation about her future plans.

Satomura is still scheduled for a Sendai Girls retirement match on April 29 and will make a TJPW appearance immediately after Roadblock.

During her UK farewell tour, Satomura received special gifts at PROGRESS My Own Destiny where Dan Moloney presented her with the Fight Club Pro Belt. Satomura was surprised to learn she would be keeping the belt permanently. She also received a PROGRESS Women’s World Championship belt backstage.
