Linda McMahon differed from Vince McMahon in a specific way in WWE, explains veteran (Exclusive)

Vince McMahon and Linda McMahon were quite intertwined during a period in WWE when the company was at one of the highest points in its history. However, a veteran recently stated that there was a major difference between the two. Linda recently made headlines after she was nominated as the Secretary of Education in the USA.

While she had been in politics way before that, her part on screen in WWEis also memorable. Behind the scenes, she had also helped Vince in various roles in the Stamford-based promotion. Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, veteran journalist Bill Apter stated his opinion of Linda McMahon.

The veteran journalist stated that while Vince was very intimidating, Linda was sweet and stern:

“A business lady but very sweet. You know Vince when you, Vince was very intimidating when you talked to him. She has a very, again, business like personality but she is sweet while she is telling it to you. And there were a few times when I was around her when I was switching over from PWI company to WOW magazine, and they didn’t like WOW magazine. She was very stern with me, ‘You know we like you, you know you’re a part of our family. But you go to that magazine, keep in mind we are not gonna help you at all.'” [From 05:32 to 06:06]

Teddy Long also shared his thoughts about Linda McMahon

Since Teddy and Linda worked together at one point in WWE, he has had quite a few interactions with her as well. Speaking on the same episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s The Wrestling Time Machine, the Hall of Famer stated:

“I had a chance to meet her on several occasions and each time I met her she was always nice and pleasant, had a conversation talking to her you know, took time. She was really a sweetheart of a lady and all I wanna say is for her new job, congratulations. I hope she does her very best.” [From 05:05 to 05:25]
