Logan Paul's feud with AEW star analyzed; lost opportunity discussed

An AEW star missed a huge opportunity to showcase his skills during a feud with Logan Paul. The star who failed to go all in during his rivalry with the Maverick is Ricochet, as the duo collided at the 2023 SummerSlam.

Paul has made a huge impact in the pro wrestling industry in a very short time. His high-flying skills have left many fans in awe, as the star started wrestling recently. The former United States Champion has had memorable matches against Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. His match against Ricochet stood out.

The One and Only is currently All Elite and is on the way to becoming one of the top heels in the promotion. He was cutting fun little promos until last week when he stabbed Swerve Strickland with scissors. Meanwhile, during his feud with Logan Paul, Ricochet and the latter had a mediocre feud despite the amazing match.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Thunder Rosa claimed that Ricochet could have shown some character during promos against the Maverick, similar to what he’s doing in AEW right now.

“I don’t think I [have] ever seen Ricochet talk the way that he does now. I know that when he was feuding with Logan Paul, he had an opportunity to cut a couple promos, but his peer was a little bit better on the mic because he was a jacka**, right? But now, he has that opportunity that he probably never had before to really be a nasty little jerk, and I think it is working,” she said. [H/T – Wrestling Inc]

Logan Paul announced his retirement in December 2024

The former United States Champion has been absent since he lost to LA Knight at the 2024 SummerSlam.

While speaking on the IMPAULSIVE, Logan Paul claimed he wouldretire from WWE after becoming a father. Despite his recent comments, he will appear live on tonight’s RAW.

“No brother, come on I’m retired. I’m a dad,” he said.

It will be interesting to see what is next for the Maverick when he returns tonight.
