This week’s AEW Dynamite will see Max Caster lock horns with Swerve Strickland after the latter attacked him on the flagship show last week. The Acclaimed star could lose to the former AEW World Champion, which might force him to turn heel.
In recent weeks, cracks have developed in the partnership between Max Caster and Anthony Bowens. The duo didn’t seem to be on the same page, which could be an indication of their split.
Max Caster and Swerve Strickland will take on each other in this week’s Dynamite. If Caster loses, he could embrace his dark side to turn heel. This could lead to him breaking up his bond with Anthony Bowens and splitting up as tag team partners. He could even join The Hurt Syndicate, as MVP offered a contract a few times backstage. While Bowens rejected the offer, Caster seemed to be interested.
Joining the Bobby Lashley-led faction would help him solidify his position in the singles division. He could also use The Hurt Syndicate’s influence to climb the ladder of success in AEW.
Max Caster on Swerve Strickland’s backstage assault on AEW Dynamite
Last week, in a backstage segment on Collision, Max Caster made his frustrations clear to Lexy Nair regarding The Realest Star’s attack on the Wednesday night show. He said he wanted to sue Strickland for the ambush.
“You know Swerve has been acting crazy. He assaulted me, the best wrestler alive. He ripped my jacket. I mean, I could sue that guy, but that is not real rap. I am not going to do that, but Swerve, look into my eyes. You don’t deserve the opportunities you have gotten here in AEW. People like you don’t deserve that. But here I am giving this gold-toothed bi**h the chance of a lifetime to go eye-to-eye with the best wrestler alive. Swerve, I want you this Wednesday on Dynamite.”
During the November 27 episode of Dynamite, the controversial star provoked Strickland with a harsh insult backstage, resulting in the latter launching a fierce attack on him.
