Major Bloodline Shake-Up Suggested: “Would Solve All These Problems”

Amid fan confusion surrounding the members of Solo Sikoa’s new-look Bloodline, former WWE writer Vince Russo has proposed a clear solution: bringing back WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi to serve as the faction’s leader. Russo argues that the current iteration of the group, which has introduced new talents like Tala Tonga, lacks clarity for the audience.

During an episode of the Coach and Bro Live podcast, Russo explained that installing Rikishi as the head of the family would resolve these issues. He believes the former Intercontinental Champion could provide essential context and backstory for each member as they are introduced, establishing their identity and motivations within the larger family narrative.

Russo elaborated on his booking philosophy when asked how he would handle the group’s latest additions.

“I’ll tell you what I would do, and it would solve all these problems. Bring in Rikishi, let Rikishi be the head of this family, he will tell you who everybody is because there’s a blood tie and there’s a family tie, so every time he brings somebody in, he will set the table for them, he will tell you who they are,” Russo stated.

He further stressed the importance of giving each member a distinct persona beyond a generic “wild man” archetype, something he feels Rikishi could help establish.

“…because again we, what’s a new guy going to be? Yeah, he’s big, he’s going to be a wild man. Well, Fatu is a wild man. They can’t all be wild men they they’ve got to have some kind of a personality, they’ve got to have some kind of a weakness, you’ve got to know you know you’ve got to know what drives them, bring Rikishi in to do all of that.”
