Prominent free agent Alex Hammerstone was reportedly sighted backstage at the AEW Double Or Nothing pay-per-view on May 25, 2025, according to information from Fightful Select. The specific reasons for the 34-year-old’s presence at the event have not been disclosed.
Hammerstone is well-known for his approximately four-year tenure with MLW and became a free agent in March 2025 after his contract concluded. He also made appearances for TNA and WWE in 2024 and has been active on the independent wrestling circuit.
While Alex Hammerstone has not yet competed in an AEW ring, he has previously hinted at potential appearances for the company. Notably, he has also teased a possible reunion with AEW performer MJF, with whom he was part of the faction The Dynasty during their time in MLW.
