As the battle for control within the Anoa’i family escalates, another member has signaled his readiness to enter the conflict. Following Jacob Fatu’s United States Championship loss, his cousin Zilla Fatu, son of the late Umaga, publicly offered his assistance, stating he is just “one call away.”
The offer came after the recent Night of Champions event, where Jacob Fatu was ambushed by Solo Sikoa and his new version of The Bloodline. The interference from JC Mateo, Tonga Loa, and the newly named Tala Tonga (formerly Hikuleo) directly led to Sikoa defeating Jacob for the title, ending his 70-day reign and handing him his first pinfall loss in WWE. A viral social media video showed a visibly disappointed Zilla watching the outcome before making his declaration of support.
This family turmoil was ignited weeks earlier at Money in the Bank when Jacob Fatu attacked Solo Sikoa during the ladder match, a decisive act of betrayal that marked his exit from The Bloodline and turned him into a fan favorite. Sikoa has since stated that Jacob will only get a rematch for the United States Championship if he apologizes for his actions and realigns with the family.
While the prospect of Zilla Fatu joining his cousin has generated significant fan interest, a recent Q&A session from WrestleVotes suggested that his debut may not be imminent. An industry source noted that while WWE is aware of Zilla, they may prefer him to gain more experience first.
“Look, I know everybody wants to see Zilla. I’ve run into Zilla a few times. He seems like a cool kid, but he’s young. He’s going to be around. Look at Jacob Fatu, how long it took him, and he debuted with a rocket strapped on him because people wanted to see it.”

The source added that a longer development period could be beneficial for Zilla’s career in the long run.
“Sometimes, being young and on the WWE roster isn’t the best formula. So, if it takes another two or three years for Zilla Fatu, it’ll probably be worth those two or three years in the long run.”
For now, Jacob Fatu stands at a crossroads, targeted by his own family and with potential reinforcements watching closely from the outside.
