Hulk Hogan is one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time. While he is no longer active inside the squared circle, his legendary status is still enough to put any star over. With the Hulkster reportedly set to return to the company soon, it could be an excellent opportunity for Triple H and Co. to elevate a current champion even further.
Gunther has firmly established himself as one of the top heels in WWE. The Ring General has never shown any respect to legends and veterans which sits well with his character. He was recently involved in an altercation with Goldberg where he brutally insulted the multi-time former World Champion, possibly setting up a future match between the two.
WWE could play the same angle with Hulk Hogan upon his return, with Gunther once again berating another legend. Like Sami Zayn came out to defend Goldberg last time, the company could use another babyface to set up a mini-feud for the World Heavyweight Champion.
While this angle is speculative it wouldn’t be out of the realm of imagination to watch the World Heavyweight Champion go after yet another WWE Hall of Famer.
Major WWE heel has teased attacking Hulk Hogan
Hulk Hogan has majorly stayed off the WWE programming in the last several years. He was last seen on TV in January last year when he appeared in a pre-taped clip to celebrate 40 years of Hulkamania.
While the Hulkster is no longer an active wrestler, he is still one of the biggest names to come out of the pro wrestling world and many rising stars can make a name for themselves by going after him. Bronson Reed seemingly wants to take up on the chance as he recently teased attacking the legend upon hearing the news of his return.
Bronson Reed is currently out with an injury he suffered during the WarGames Match at Survivor Series. The Australian was amid the best run of his career before the setback and was rising the ranks in the company.
While the chances of him returning soon are slim, it could be an excellent way to keep the heat on the powerhouse by having him attack Hulk Hogan.
