Eric Bischoff suggests Charlotte Flair could make her WWE return at the 2025 Royal Rumble following her year-long absence due to knee injuries sustained against Asuka on SmackDown in December 2023.
During his 83 Weeks podcast, Bischoff discussed potential return scenarios for the 14-time World Champion. Despite speculation about a Saturday Night’s Main Event appearance and the upcoming RAW debut on Netflix, Bischoff favors a Royal Rumble comeback.
“Two great options, right? One option, returning her on Netflix services the client. The other services the audience because she would get a monster pop [at] Royal Rumble,” Bischoff said. “I’d save it for the Rumble.”
WWE analyst Sam Roberts shared similar thoughts on his Notsam Wrestling podcast. “Charlotte is my pick to win the Women’s Royal Rumble this year right now, but who knows? Who knows she’ll even be back,” Roberts stated.
While Flair has been spotted training recently, her return date remains unconfirmed. TV host Chris Van Vliet also projects a February 1, 2025, Royal Rumble appearance for Flair.
