Sam Roberts expects The Rock to make his return during the Tribal Combat match between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa on RAW’s Netflix premiere. The wrestling analyst shared his predictions on the Notsam Wrestling podcast.
“I gotta believe that The Rock shows up for Tribal Combat. I gotta believe that on January 6th we find out what side of The Bloodline, if any, The Rock has been supporting,” Roberts stated. He suggested The Rock could potentially align with Sikoa’s faction.
WrestleVotes previously reported The Rock’s anticipated return for the January 6 episode, following his last appearance at Bad Blood in October. The Final Boss has been absent from WWE programming since the RAW after WrestleMania XL.
Roberts also predicted John Cena’s appearance on the Netflix premiere. “There’s no doubt in my mind that John Cena will be at Netflix RAW. If he’s back for the year 2025, what better place to kick it off than on Netflix,” he said. Cena announced his retirement plans at Money in the Bank 2024, with his farewell tour expected to begin in January 2025.
