Reports from Fightful Select indicate that Gabe Kidd is anticipated to have a role in the Anarchy in the Arena match at AEW Double or Nothing, despite not being officially listed as a participant. Kidd has reportedly already engaged in media activities for AEW to promote the upcoming May pay-per-view.
According to the Fightful Select report, “Gabe Kidd is planned to be involved in the Anarchy in the Arena match in some capacity, even though he’s not officially in the match. He did media via AEW for the show.”
This expectation follows Gabe Kidd’s recent appearance on the May 14th episode of AEW Dynamite, where he interfered in a steel cage match involving Jon Moxley and Samoa Joe. Kidd has previously stated his intentions in AEW are destructive, aligning with Jon Moxley’s outlook, which suggests a logical fit for his participation in the Anarchy in the Arena contest.
AEW has officially announced the Anarchy in the Arena match will feature Kenny Omega, Swerve Strickland, Willow Nightingale, and The Opps facing The Death Riders and the Young Bucks. Gabe Kidd’s potential unannounced role adds another layer of unpredictability to the encounter.
Given the nature synonymous with Anarchy in the Arena matches and Gabe Kidd’s declared disruptive agenda, his specific involvement in the multi-person bout at AEW Double or Nothing remains a point of keen interest.
