Major Update on Roman Reigns' WWE Return

Speculation mounts for Roman Reigns’ WWE return, possibly around Money in the Bank, following recent storyline developments.

Major Update on Roman Reigns’ WWE Return

The potential WWE return of Roman Reigns is drawing significant attention, with recent developments on WWE RAW suggesting his comeback may be approaching after several weeks off World Wrestling Entertainment programming. Reigns has been absent since an attack on the WWE RAW episode that followed WrestleMania 41.

During the opening segment of the May 26, 2025, broadcast of WWE RAW, Paul Heyman appeared alongside Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and the recently returned Bronson Reed. Heyman praised Breakker as a future multi-time WrestleMania main eventer and characterized Reed as exceptionally dangerous. Notably, when introducing Seth Rollins, Heyman demanded that fans “acknowledge” him and then performed his signature ‘worshipping’ pose, a gesture strongly associated with his previous alliance with Roman Reigns.

Roman Reigns was last seen on WWE television when he and CM Punk were subjected to an assault by Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker, who were accompanied by Paul Heyman. Since that incident, the on-screen group involving Rollins, Breakker, and Heyman has expanded to include Bronson Reed, who joined their ranks at a WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event over the past weekend.

While Roman Reigns is not currently advertised for the Money in the Bank premium live event on June 7, reports suggest his return could occur around that period, or possibly on the June 2nd episode of WWE RAW. An appearance on the May 26 WWE RAW was considered unlikely by observers, as WWE had made no official announcement.

Following Money in the Bank, the next premium live event on the WWE calendar is Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia on June 28, although Reigns’ participation in that event remains unconfirmed. However, Roman Reigns is currently advertised by WWE for SummerSlam, which is scheduled for August 2 and 3.

Further reports suggest that while Reigns might not compete in the Money in the Bank ladder match itself, his presence could significantly affect the event’s outcome.
